- One Church - One Hour - One School
Croydon Hills Baptist Church has partnered with Kids Hope Aus and Warranwood Primary School to support at-risk children by providing mentors for one hour per week to build caring and supportive relationships and help these children realise their full potential socially, academically and emotionally.
CHBC currently has 11 mentors who have been trained with Kids Hope Aus to work in the school.
It has been a privilege for the Mentors to work with the children of Warranwood Primary and to see the difference that can be achieved as children develop a sense of hope and begin to believe in themselves.
The teachers have reported seeing a difference in the children being mentored, so that's very encouraging. It is great to see that we can play a part in caring for children in our community. |
