A Large group of Burmese people started to worship with us and to call CHBC their home.

Many had spent up to 20 years in a Karen Refugee Camp on the Thailand/Myammar border, and had never worshipped in a church building before.

We welcome them, and there are plans to soon commence a regular Burmese worship service.

What a Celebration!

As a way of expressing our gratitude for the many ways we have shared in God’s goodness and abundance we took up a special offering on the day of our church anniversary – Sunday July 16th.

Our aim was to express our thanks to God by releasing $50,000 to cross cultural mission. This was a great challenge but through God we made it and actually raised over $60,000.
