Welcome to Youth Ministry at CHBC for 2009. I believe this is going
to be an exciting year in the life of ‘Ignite’ and those
who attend the various programs that will happen throughout the year.
Launching a weekly Friday Night youth program, continuing with Refuel & Life
Groups, a Youth Camp in Term 1, further development of the evening service
as well as a journal to help young people connect with God, it will be
a fantastic year.
Ignite exists to be a generation of young people shining their faith,
love and passion for Jesus that impacts their community.
We aim to fulfill the church’s mission by ‘Building and
Equipping young people for Jesus Christ.’
I’m really excited about this year and what Christ is going to
do. I believe that the Spirit will unleash the enormous potential that
the youth of CHBC have into life changers in the community around us
with the love, grace and hope that only Jesus Christ can provide.

Ignite Friday Nights
Ignite Friday Nights is a weekly youth event that runs
during School Term from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
It’s an opportunity for young people to come and
relax and hang out, and be built up in life in an encouraging environment.
With various activities and games happening, opportunities
to ask questions about life, hear talks on life issues and spend time
in discussion groups with others going through the same things as they
are, Ignite Friday Nights is a great way to finish the school week.
Supper will also be provided.
Beginning Friday February 13 at 7:30pm, downstairs at
CHBC, Friday nights will never be the same.
IGNITE FRIDAY NIGHTS
7:30pm to 9:30pm Cost: $2
ACTIVITIES will include:
Wii, Air Hockey, Pool, Art work, T-shirt making,
beading, creative opportunities, plus more (not
all activities will be offered each week)
Sundays@6pm
A creative and innovative service that aims to help everyone who attends
deepen their life with Christ.
Through worship music, multimedia, prayers, practical & relevant messages,
and after the service a variety of options to help you continue to engage
further with Christ.
