For the past twenty years the people of CHBC have experienced many
examples of God’s blessing and faithfulness. We have indeed been
privileged.
As a way of expressing our gratitude for the many ways we have shared
in God’s goodness and abundance we took up a special
offering on the day of our church anniversary – Sunday July 16th.
Our aim was to express our thanks to God by releasing $50,000 to cross
cultural mission. This was a great challenge but through God we made
it and actually raised over $60,000.
This is where this gift will go..
- Global Interaction – the Kokrajah Community Centre is a gathering
place for students and the community. Our gift will help complete the
building from which significant outreach will take place. This gift
will encourage Australian Baptist work in Assam
- Materials and travel costs for courses in Bible translation in Tonga . This
gift will bless the work of Wycliff Bible Translators
- Scholarship to train Hausa speaking church leaders. This gift will
encourage Peter and Sally Cunningham in Niger as
they work with the Hausa people.Thsi si Tax Deductible
- To pay for the administrative costs of a church being relocated
and to help purchase books for the local library. This gift will encourage
Mal and Jenny Watts in Burkina Faso
- To help fund medical supplies in the event of emergency for MAF.
This gift will encourage Derek and Janine Buntrock in PNG.

- To support literacy work in PNG. This will encourage
Peter and Raewyn Brook. This is Tax deductible
