The seniors believe that life begins at 60 and just keeps getting
better,
This group meets monthly and has activities such as
craft,
special guests,
delicious afternoon teas
and generally
enjoying one another’s company.
The monthly Senior Friendship Program has continued to be held
in the Church Fireside Room on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
.
The format was changed in March 2005 to link with a
12 noon Chapel Service. The program now consists of:
12 noon - Hymn singing and Chapel Service
1 pm - Lunch and Friendship Afternoon,
concluding at 3pm
The change has proved most successful and numbers have increased
to an average of 25.
On the 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Wednesdays of the month a Bible study is held at the church between
10 am and 11 am.
All are welcome.

Time
Oh God,
you have given to every individual equally,
a very precious gift, the gift of
time.
We cannot manufacture time, or stop it, buy it, store it up, or bring
it back.
It’s your free gift of grace.
Every morning it’s waiting
for us untouched and unused.
But time can and will run out.
I am aware
the time is passing for me and the older I get the quicker it seems to
go.
Because of that, I want to use the time I have left wisely,
not by trying to
fill every second with frantic activity
but by living moment by moment in your
will, oh God.
Then my earthly time will have eternal meaning and value.
