What Can I Expect?

We know being in a new place for the first time can be intimidating or nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Croydon Hills Baptist Church a safe and enjoyable one!

You can expect an enthusiastic family of people in casual clothes, centred around Jesus Christ, seeking to know and experience Him, worshipping freely with lively music, enjoying an inspiring message, surrounded by smiling faces and good coffee.

Our Sunday services typically run for about 75 minutes, although many people stay around longer to chat and enjoy a coffee in our Hillside Cafe.

10AM Service

A large gathering of people from all ages. We meet together to focus on Jesus and honour God.

A children's program runs during the service for 4 year old kinder through to grade 6 during school terms. Everyone is welcome!

1PM Service

Karen Language (Pronounced Kah- Ren)

In 2005 around 25 Karen people began their own service and called our church their home. The Karen Fellowship is now home to over 400 Karen who gather for services and community here. Many had spent up to 20 years in a Karen Refugee Camp on the Thai/Burma border and had never been in a church building before. Now we have become one family with the richness of two cultures. We welcome them, and are pleased to have them join with us at the Karen Language Service on a Sunday afternoon.

6PM Service

Our 6PM service is a relaxed environment where we focus our attention on God and respond to Him in a variety of ways. We also enjoy an environment where everyone is welcome and together we find Hope, Meaning and Love in Jesus.

Church Online

We began live streaming our 10am service at the start of the 2020 pandemic. It has continued to grow and become a community reaching beyond our building. People quite often find community online before they venture into our building. Check out our YouTube channel below!
